One Nigeria Global Alliance (ONGA) Hails Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE – “Tinubu Gave Us the Right Man to Build the Regions!”

In the spirit of national rebirth and unity, Nigerians in the diaspora under the umbrella of One Nigeria Global Alliance (ONGA) have penned a heartfelt letter of commendation to the Hon. Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE. The group lauded his on-the-spot passion, cohesion-building efforts, and supervisory leadership that has turned the once-fragmented regional commissions into a well-oiled machine.

Momoh is the unseen engine driving synergy, stability, and progress across Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, North East Development  Commission NEDC, and the newly inaugurated commissions.

On behalf of Nigerians in the diaspora, under the aegis of One Nigeria Global Alliance (ONGA , we wish to express our deepest appreciation for your outstanding leadership as Supervising Minister of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), North-East Development Commission (NEDC), and the newly inaugurated regional commissions – North West Development NWDC, North Central Development NCDC, South West Development Commission SWDC, South South Development Commission SSDC, and South East Development Commission SEDC.

For the first time in the history of these agencies, there has been a seamless alignment between the Boards, Managing Directors, and management teams, resulting in an unprecedented era of peace and collaboration. Your insistence on signing performance bonds has created accountability and discipline that have translated into visible results for the people – from roads to healthcare facilities, from economic empowerment programs to education initiatives.

Under your watch, the commissions have functioned “like a well-tuned engine,” and the rancour that once defined their operations has been replaced with synergy, cohesion, and an unstoppable pace of development. This is no small feat, considering the complex socio-political realities of our regions.

Sir, we liken your role to the proverbial guide who stands behind the pilot, offering direction and focus. Behind every success story of NDDC and NEDC today, there is your firm but visionary hand ensuring that the ship of regional development does not drift off course.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for spotting and appointing the right man for this critical job. His foresight in entrusting you with this mandate has proven to be a masterstroke in the actualisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
