Baba Ijesha Embraces Son After Regaining Freedom From Prison

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha, whose real name is Olanrewaju Omiyinka, has announced the arrival of his newborn son with his wife.

The actor shared the joyful news via his Instagram page on Monday, posting maternity photos featuring himself and his partner. In the emotional announcement, he expressed deep gratitude to God for blessing his family with a healthy baby boy.

He also revealed the name of the child as King Kagar Omiyinka, describing the birth as a divine blessing that exceeded his expectations. In his words, he noted that God had written a story in quiet and unseen ways, appreciating his wife for her strength throughout the journey into motherhood.

The announcement quickly attracted a wave of congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the entertainment industry, who flooded the comment section to celebrate the new addition to his family.

It would be recalled that the actor regained his freedom in November 2025 after serving a prison sentence following a conviction in a child sexual assault case. He has, however, consistently denied the allegations at different times, including during a March 22, 2026 interview with veteran broadcaster Yinka Ayefele on Fresh FM, where he maintained his stance on the matter.
