Osimhen Hails Galatasaray’s January Signings As Fenerbahce Chase Lookman
Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has expressed satisfaction with his club’s January transfer business following the loan signings of Noa Lang and Yáser Asprilla. According to Ireporter Online, the Nigerian international shared his thoughts after Galatasaray’s Champions League loss to Manchester City on Wednesday, noting that the new arrivals are expected to boost the team’s quality and depth.
Osimhen described both players as valuable additions, stressing that their presence would positively impact the squad as the club continues to compete on multiple fronts. He voiced confidence that Lang and Asprilla possess the quality needed to make an immediate contribution to the Turkish champions’ ambitions.
Lang joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, while Asprilla completed a temporary switch from Girona. The duo are anticipated to enhance the club’s attacking options, bringing added creativity and versatility as the season progresses in both domestic and European competitions.
Meanwhile, developments are also unfolding elsewhere in the Turkish Super Lig, with Fenerbahce stepping up efforts to secure the signature of Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman. Reports monitored by Ireporter Online indicate that senior officials of the Istanbul-based club are currently in Italy to conclude negotiations for the Nigeria international.
Fenerbahce are said to be offering Lookman an annual salary in the region of €9 million, alongside a proposed loan deal that includes an obligation to buy. The arrangement reportedly involves a €5 million loan fee, with a further €35 million payment expected to be completed during the summer transfer window.
Atalanta are believed to be open to the transfer following their recent acquisition of Giacomo Raspadori. Lookman had previously sought a move to Inter Milan last summer, but the deal collapsed, resulting in his continued stay in Bergamo.
