Ovia Decides: Dennis Idahosa Shines As Adenomo,Top PDP Chieftains Decamp To APC

This is what we call the reward for performance, the All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State has just received a major boost as top PDP chieftains in the state’s Ovia South West Local Government Area, led by Goodluck Adenomo, along with hundreds of their supporters, have just defected to the party.

The occasion was Thursday’s inauguration of the APC campaign council in the local government at Iguobazuwa, the council’s administrative headquarters.

Adenomo, the top PDP grassroots mobilizer in Ovia and the State, claims that the decision was made as a direct result of Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the lawmaker who represents Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, outperforming all expectations.

He was quoted as saying,

“It is for this reason for that I and my teeming supporters have decided to pitch tent with the APC to support the reelection of Idahosa.

“His performance in office within the space of three years remained an eye opener to us in Ovia because we have had lawmaker before him who didn’t come close to what he had done,” he stated.

The event was spectacular, with residents and party leaders welcoming the team and promising them a level playing field.

It was a day filled with songs of praise for the Lawmaker, who has not only made the people of Ovia proud, but also the party as a whole, as he continues to attract members of the opposition into the party as a result of his quality representation.
