Phyna Explodes: ‘You’re Embarrassing Me’ After Getting Kicked Out Of Imisi’s Birthday Bash

According to Ireporter Online, reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, sparked reactions online after being denied entry to the birthday party of 2025 Big Brother Naija winner, Imisi. The incident occurred at the event venue on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

In footage shared online, Phyna appeared visibly upset and expressed her frustration over being stopped at the entrance. She explained that security personnel and event organizers refused her entry because she was livestreaming the celebration for her fans. Phyna stated that she was asked to put down her camera before being allowed inside, a request she disagreed with.

Phyna maintained that her intention was to support Imisi on her special day and not to cause any disruption. She criticized what she perceived as unequal treatment, suggesting that the rules regarding recording and livestreaming were not applied uniformly to other content creators.

Security officials reportedly cited a general policy prohibiting filming and recording inside the venue. Nevertheless, Phyna contended that the regulation appeared selectively enforced, prompting the confrontation. She remarked, “I came here to support Imisi, not to cause any problem. You people are embarrassing me for no reason. Why is it only me you are stopping?”
