Police Arraign 31-Year-Old Man For Alleged Theft Of Tricycle
A 31-year-old man, Abdulateef Oyedele, has been charged before an Ojo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for the alleged theft of a yellow tricycle valued at N4.7 million. The defendant is facing two counts of conspiracy and theft, which he pleaded not guilty to………READ MORE
The alleged crime occurred on February 2, in the Idimu area of Lagos, where Oyedele, along with others currently at large, conspired to steal the tricycle belonging to Lt. Col. Michael Samuel.
The prosecution, represented by ASP Simon Uche, stated that the offense violated sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015. The court granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum. The case has been adjourned to April 24, for further hearing.
