Rotimi Salami Reveals: ‘I Don’t Keep Secrets From My Wife

Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has emphasized that he maintains full transparency in his marriage, revealing that he would have ended his friendship with the late actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola if his wife had expressed any discomfort.

In a recent interview, Salami reflected on his relationship with Ademola and highlighted the priority he places on accountability and openness with his spouse. According to the actor, his wife is the sole person he feels answerable to in matters concerning his personal relationships.

“My wife is the only person I’m answerable to. If she had complained about my close friendship with Allwell, I would have stepped back from the friendship,” he said.

Salami explained that while he maintained a cordial professional relationship with the late actress, his family always came first. “Allwell didn’t live with me at home. Whenever I went to work, I always returned home. When God wants to support what you do, He aligns things in your favour,” he added.

The actor further revealed that he makes it a point to keep his wife informed about his interactions with other women, describing openness as a guiding principle in his marriage.
