Seyi Law Opens Up: Why Tinubu Means Everything To Me

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has reiterated his strong support for President Bola Tinubu, praising the administration’s leadership and economic policies. Speaking at the APC National Convention 2026 in Abuja on Friday, the 42-year-old entertainer credited the government with rescuing Nigeria from economic instability.

Seyi Law highlighted the growth in the nation’s foreign reserves under President Tinubu, noting that net foreign reserves have risen from about one billion US dollars to approximately 40 billion US dollars, while gross reserves now stand at 50.7 billion US dollars. He described the president as a leader “worth staking everything for,” emphasizing the progress achieved in stabilizing the economy.

The comedian also defended key policy decisions, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market. He stressed that tackling corruption requires deliberate action, praising the administration for ending the fuel subsidy regime and integrating the official and black market exchange rates.

On education, Seyi Law commended the government’s efforts to minimize industrial actions in universities and improve student support. He noted that under the current administration, a four-year course now runs its full duration, with strikes significantly reduced to just nine days. Additionally, nearly one million students are benefiting from loans and a monthly stipend of ₦20,000, he said.
