Super Eagles Clash With Rwanda: NFF Unveils Ticket Prices Ahead Of Crucial Qualifier
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released ticket prices for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between the Super Eagles and Rwanda’s Amavubi. The game is scheduled for Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, with kick-off set for 5 p.m. local time.
Fans can purchase tickets for ₦1,000 to access the popular stand, while VIP tickets are priced at ₦2,000. Tickets will be available at designated centres across Uyo starting Friday, with officials anticipating a full stadium for the Group C clash.
The match comes at a critical stage for Nigeria, which has experienced a challenging start to its World Cup qualifying campaign. The three-time African champions have dropped points against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, leaving them with just seven points from six games. Their most recent home game ended in a 1-1 draw against Zimbabwe, adding pressure ahead of the Rwanda fixture.
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi highlighted the significance of the encounter, stressing the need for maximum points to maintain Nigeria’s qualification hopes. “If we let it slip, it’s finished. If we let the Rwanda game slip, there’s nothing like rivalry in South Africa,” Ndidi told reporters in Uyo.
