Suspected Herders Allegedly Kill Pregnant Woman And 10 Others In Benue Community

The assailants reportedly stormed the village on Sunday evening, causing chaos and leaving residents in fear. Agatu Local Government Area Chairman, Yakubu Ochepo, confirmed the grim incident, stating that seven bodies, including those of the pregnant woman, an elderly man, and five youths, have been recovered so far. The search for the remaining victims continues, with the involvement of security forces. While efforts are underway to address the situation, the police spokesperson, SP Catherine Anene, has yet to be officially informed of the incident.
