TINUBU 2023: A Pivotal Moment In Redefining Democracy For A New And Greater Nigeria.
… A chance for Nigerians and the black race to realise their full potential through economic, security, and infrastructure revitalization.
By Comrade Muhammad TAG, of Northeast.
Consider Joe Biden, the 78th years old President of the United States, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali, 81, Lebanon’s President Michael Aoun, 85, Saudi Arabia’s King, 84, Raul Castro, 89, and Queen Elizabeth, Head of State of 16 countries including Canada and Australia and you will know that age is just a number.
What we require is a working Nigeria in which all of our potential is harnessed by a leader who is capable and able based on his experience in both the private and public sectors. Furthermore, all of these aspirants have held one or more positions in the Executive, Legislative, or Public sectors, and we all know what we want as a country to prosper, so let us not politicise our national interest with a coined statement by a few self-centered individuals.
Asiwaju is an example of the type of leader Nigeria requires right now; he is an exceptionally extraordinary individual who rose from obscurity to prominence through dedication, commitment, selfless service, and a goal-oriented spirit.
He has been the best student in the history of Chigaco State University, the best employee at MobilX, who is the only person that rose from an ordinary auditor to the rank of treasurer before his due time because of the critical role he played in saving the company amidst economic challenges.
Tinubu was a forerunner of the pro-democracy movement, and the best serving governor who laid a master plan for his state that turned it into a model for both cities of black nations.
He is, however, a staunch supporter of democracy, a talent scout with managerial and leadership experience, and a pan-Nigeria whose appointment and engagement criterion are based on merit, merit, and merit. A worthy mentor for the upcoming generation, who believed in independency of his mentees by respecting a constructive argument within his cabinet before driving them to a conclusion.
For these and other reasons, I am hereby calling on all Nigerians to rally around the aspiration of reawakening and building the Nigeria of our dreams, a prosperous country that we can all be proud of having, and to vote for, support, and stand for the mandate of Asiwaju to be the President of this nation in 2023.
Let us support and rally around this project, in God we trust.
Muhammad TAG is a comrade and a pan-Nigeria writing from Abuja, Nigeria.
