Tinubu, Osinbajo, And Other Dignitaries Present At APC Caucus Meeting In Abuja

According to Ireporter Online, President Bola Tinubu on Thursday attended the National Caucus meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja, alongside key party leaders and dignitaries. The meeting was presided over by APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

President Tinubu arrived at the venue at approximately 7:41 p.m., accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Other notable attendees included the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Senate President, Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen; APC governors; members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC); and principal officers of the National Assembly.

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also present, along with several governors who recently joined the APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Taraba State Governor Kefas Agbu.

Additionally, former Minister of Labour and ex-Anambra State Governor Chris Ngige attended the meeting. Ngige’s presence followed his release on bail by the Federal High Court in Gwaripa, Abuja, in relation to allegations of a ₦2.2 billion contract fraud case. Video footage of his arrival at the Presidential Villa has circulated widely online.
