Dollar To Naira Today: Latest Exchange Rate For June 2, 2026
The exchange rate between the United States dollar and the Nigerian naira in the parallel market remained a key focus for currency traders and businesses on Monday, June 1, 2026.
According to market information obtained from foreign exchange dealers in Lagos, the dollar was purchased at ₦1,375 and sold at ₦1,385 in the black market segment, commonly referred to as the parallel market. The rates reflected prevailing transactions among Bureau De Change operators and other market participants.
Available data further indicated that within the official foreign exchange market, the highest dollar-to-naira exchange rate recorded stood at ₦1,373, while the lowest rate was ₦1,360.
Financial authorities have consistently maintained that the parallel market is not recognized as an official channel for foreign exchange transactions. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has continued to advise individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange services to conduct their transactions through authorized banking institutions and approved market channels.
Market observers also noted that foreign exchange rates may vary across locations and dealers, meaning the actual buying and selling prices offered to customers could differ from prevailing market quotations.
