Nancy Isime Reveals Why She’ll Never Share Her Salary With Her Man

Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has opened up about her views on relationships, revealing that she prefers to keep financial matters strictly private and does not believe partners are obligated to disclose their earnings to each other.

Speaking during a recent podcast appearance with media personality Prince Ita, the actress explained that conversations about personal income are not something she entertains in her relationships. She maintained that she has no desire to inform a partner about how much she earns and likewise does not expect to be told about his financial standing.

According to the actress, personal privacy remains important to her, and she believes certain aspects of an individual’s life should remain within personal boundaries. She noted that a partner’s earnings are not information she considers necessary for the success of a relationship, just as she sees no reason to reveal details of her own income.

Isime stated that discussions about money are among the topics she avoids entirely, emphasizing that she would never feel compelled to disclose her earnings to a romantic partner. She also disclosed that she has no interest in checking a partner’s phone and would not request access to it, even though she would not object if her own phone was viewed.

Reflecting on her personal aspirations, the actress said that while many young women dream about marriage and weddings, her focus while growing up was on building a successful career, achieving financial independence, and creating opportunities for herself.

She further expressed uncertainty about having what many describe as a “dream wedding,” explaining that any future wedding would simply be based on a mutual decision between her and her partner. According to her, whether the ceremony is elaborate or modest would depend entirely on what both parties desire at the time.
