Tinubu Swears In RMAFC, NPC Commissioners, Chairs FEC Meeting

According to Ireporter Online, President Bola Tinubu on Monday administered the oath of office to newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) as well as members of the National Population Commission (NPC) during a brief ceremony held at the Council Chamber of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

The President inaugurated Amina Gamawa from Bauchi State and former National Hajj Commission Chairman, Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed from Kaduna State, as Federal Commissioners representing the RMAFC.

In a separate swearing-in exercise, six new Federal Commissioners were inducted into the National Population Commission. The appointees include Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti State), Nasiru Mu’azu (Zamfara State), Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara State), Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina State), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa State), and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto State).

Following the inauguration, President Tinubu proceeded to preside over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), which marked the first gathering of the council in approximately two months. The session had in attendance Vice President Kashim Shettima, cabinet ministers, and other senior government officials.
