Trending: You Cant Sow IPOB And Reap Aso Rock -Nigerians Tackle Peter Obi
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, appears to be in hot water right now because Nigerians have started a trend with the tag “You Can’t Sow IPOB And Reap Aso Rock,” which is directly opposed to his campaign. The comments resulting from such postings claim that Peter Obi cannot reap what he did not sow.
The trending headline on social media implies that the LP presidential candidate cannot be an alleged supporter or sympathiser of IPOB and simultaneously run for president of Nigeria. Fa Fa Fa Fowl, they claim that Obi is unfit to lead Nigeria because he has refused to condemn IPOB and has not severed his ties with them.
IPOB is currently an outlawed organization linked to the dreaded Unknown gunmen who are making life in the South East unbearable with their sit-at-home order and are suspected of being responsible for the murderous killings of Igbo sons and daughters in the east as well as the burning down of public buildings like INEC, police stations, local government secretariats, etc.
What are your thoughts on this hot topic? Is Obi a supporter or sympathiser of the outlawed IPOB? Is it proper for him to distance himself from the group, given that Peter Obi is running for the presidency and should not be associated with any terrorist group? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
