Yul Edochie Fires Back At Wife-Snatching Allegations
Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has strongly denied allegations that he took another man’s wife, describing the claims as a calculated attempt to damage his reputation.
According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, the actor addressed the controversy in a post shared on his Instagram page, where he provided his account of the circumstances surrounding the allegations. Edochie stated that the man at the centre of the claims had separated from the woman in question in 2013, remarried, and moved on with his life long before the current controversy emerged.
The actor alleged that the individual only resurfaced after noticing the woman’s recent achievements and growing success. He maintained that the accusations were part of a coordinated effort to discredit him, insisting that similar attempts to tarnish his image over the years had failed.
Edochie expressed confidence in his ability to withstand criticism and controversy, attributing his resilience, continued relevance, and loyal fan base to divine favour. He argued that neither individuals nor organized campaigns could undermine him, emphasizing that his success and influence remain intact despite persistent attacks.
The filmmaker further described himself as strong, chosen, and unstoppable, stating that his journey and accomplishments are guided by God’s grace. He asserted that his enduring popularity and visibility in the entertainment industry are proof of the support he continues to enjoy from his followers and admirers.
Reaffirming his confidence, Edochie declared that he remains focused on his path and unshaken by what he described as false narratives aimed at bringing him down.
