He emphasized that this was just the beginning, implying that the legal battle is far from over.
The original lawsuit filed by Atiku at the Circuit Court of Cook County sought access to Tinubu’s educational records at the Chicago State University, but it was dismissed.

Shaibu further pointed out that Tinubu’s academic records have been a subject of doubt, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has failed to produce any former classmates to verify his educational history. He mentioned that other past Nigerian Presidents have invited their former classmates to the Presidential Villa, but Tinubu’s educational background remains shrouded in secrecy.
Atiku’s camp insists that the President should be transparent and above board, especially concerning his life history. They argue that Tinubu’s efforts to hinder the revelation of his past suggest that he might be concealing something.
Shaibu stressed that the truth will eventually prevail over falsehood and that Atiku is determined to expose the alleged secrecy surrounding Tinubu’s past. The statement ends with a strong sentiment that President Tinubu cannot escape the moment of truth and that he has no hiding place.
