IPAC Chairman Yabagi Sani Affirms Solidarity During Meeting with Vice-President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa
The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has extended its endorsement to the Tinubu administration’s unwavering dedication to enhancing democracy in Nigeria.

This affirmation was conveyed by IPAC Chairman Yabagi Sani in an interview with journalists following a meeting with Vice-President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.
Sani underscored that, despite differences among political parties, IPAC recognizes the current administration’s strides in tackling the nation’s challenges. The council’s endorsement resonates with its recognition of the administration’s efforts in addressing various national issues.
After cordial exchanges, the meeting transitioned to a closed-door session. Subsequently, IPAC’s chairman emerged to address journalists, elucidating the purpose of their visit.
Additionally, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, attributed the country’s economic situation to the previous administration.

Vice-President Shettima emphasized that the Tinubu administration is fervently committed to deepening Nigeria’s democracy. Shettima stated, “Our approach now is to intensify our activities in tandem with the land forces to completely eradicate these criminal elements with our combat capabilities.”
He reiterated that the administration’s commitment is founded on inclusivity, acknowledging the diverse components of the nation’s federation. Shettima emphasized the value of democracy, which encompasses inclusivity and dialogue. He praised IPAC for its role in promoting stability within the political sphere.
Vice-President Shettima assured the delegation that, despite prevailing challenges, the administration is poised to surmount economic difficulties, particularly those arising from the fuel subsidy removal. He conveyed the President’s empathy for Nigerians and the administration’s comprehensive plan to address the economic issues at hand.
Earlier in the discussions, Engr. Yabaji Sani congratulated the Tinubu administration on its inauguration and highlighted IPAC’s readiness to support the administration’s efforts.
He emphasized IPAC’s dedication to national unity, inclusivity, and dialogue, stressing the importance of opposition parties’ contributions to national progress. Sani expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s transformative capabilities.
The IPAC delegation included prominent figures such as Abba Kawo Ali, Ag. National Chairman, NNPP; Alhaji Shehu Masa Gabam, Chairman, SDP; Sylvester Ezeokenwa, National Chairman, APGA; Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, National Chairman, ADC; Barr. Okechukwu Osuoha, Deputy National Legal Adviser, PDP; Hajia Zainab Ibrahim, Assistant Secretary General, APC, among others.
