VIDEO Emerge As Residents Invade Private Warehouse In Bayelsa, Loot Foodstuffs

On Sunday, a private warehouse situated in the Kpansia area of Yenagoa, which the Bayelsa State government utilized for storing foodstuffs and various materials, fell victim to an invasion by residents of the state capital.

The intruders made off with food items and other commodities.

Among the items taken were bags of rice and garri, cartons of noodles, and bottled water. These items were reported to have been part of relief supplies contributed by concerned individuals during the 2022 flood crisis in the state.

The incident transpired around 7:30 pm, with residents arriving at the warehouse situated along the Isaac Boro Expressway.

They used pick-up vans and private vehicles to haul away the foodstuffs, many of which had already deteriorated.
