Subsequently, he proceeded to the recently rehabilitated Eko Bridge, engaging with officials from relevant ministries and project contractors who provided updates and insights.

At the present moment, the minister’s itinerary includes an anticipated visit to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the reconstructed Apapa Oshodi Expressway, the Deep Sea Ports, and various other Federal Government projects spanning the Lagos and Ogun regions.

Following his initial interview on Channels Television after assuming office, Nigerians from different corners of the country reached out to the former governor, highlighting the dire state of federal roads within their localities.

The Ministry of Works and Housing released a performance report by the end of the previous administration, indicating that a cumulative distance of 8,352.94 km of roads had been either constructed or rehabilitated between the years 2016 and 2022.
