BREAKING: Disturbing News As Terrorists Kill Bala (DETAILS)

Three days after being abducted, Alhaji Yakubu Bala, the Director of Works in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State, fell victim to terrorists who tragically ended his life.

Reports indicate that the Director, along with 23 others, was kidnapped over the weekend in Mariga town. The terrorists demanded a ransom of N50 million, which his family paid.

Hajia Hadiza Abdullahi, the deceased’s sister, provided further details, revealing that the Director was in his residence with his two wives, one of whom was pregnant, when the terrorists forcibly entered their home after one of the wives opened the door upon their knocking.

Three days after the abduction of her brother and the others, the bandits demanded the N50 million ransom. Despite raising a substantial amount, the bandits did not release her brother. Some family members of four other abducted individuals managed to pool together N2 million each and handed it over to the kidnappers in the forest, resulting in the release of their loved ones.

It was only then that the family learned that Alhaji Yakubu Bala had been killed by the gunmen just two days after his abduction. The released victims shared the heartbreaking news that he had been tied to a tree, and the terrorists had cruelly broken both of his legs before his tragic demise. They were informed that he was buried in a shallow grave within the forest.

This heartbreaking incident has left behind two grieving wives and ten children, and the family is struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss.
