BREAKING: Govt Opens Scholarship Portal For New Students (DETAILS)

The Borno State Scholarship Board has initiated the application process for scholarships covering the academic years 2022/23 and 2023/24, targeting students in tertiary institutions.

Mallam Bala Isa, the Executive Secretary of the board, confirmed this development in Maiduguri, adding that the portal became accessible on September 14 and will remain open until October 14.

Isa specified, “Borno State indigenes who have gained admission into higher education institutions across Nigeria and have completed their first-year registration are eligible to apply.”

Applicants are instructed to use the following link: scholarship.bo.gov.ng.

Isa emphasized the importance of careful application, cautioning that no complaints regarding incorrect registrations will be entertained.

NAN reports that the Borno government is providing scholarships to students in various tertiary institutions including universities, law schools, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
