He emphasized the possibility of having a government with a genuine concern for the less privileged.

Addressing the press, Okocha stated, “Under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, renowned for his compassion, we, as leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, have been influenced positively. We have intentionally reached out to support indigent homes, elderly care facilities, and motherless baby homes.”

Okocha expressed confidence that the party’s visit to these homes would inspire hope among the less fortunate.

Expanding on his statement, he added, “It’s crucial to demonstrate that a government can exhibit compassion for the less privileged. We also hope that, given the opportunity to govern, we will strive to make a more significant impact.”

He urged the affluent individuals in the state to extend their support to both the elderly care facilities and motherless baby homes.
