Ganduje’s Adviser Sues Radio Nigeria Announcer For Alleged Insults And Defamation

Umar Ganduje’s Special Adviser, Anas Abba Dala, has explained his decision to sue Dahiru Muktar, a staff member of Radio Nigeria Kano, citing accusations of criminal conspiracy, defamation, and insult. Muktar, a continuity announcer with Pyramid FM, is accused of using social media to make derogatory statements about Dala, including claims of adultery and abandoning his mother.

Dala, who clarified that the lawsuit was personal and not on behalf of the government, provided evidence of Muktar’s alleged defamatory posts and videos. He emphasized that the legal action followed an initial court filing before police involvement.

Dala also mentioned that the lawyer Jafar Sani Bello, who represented Muktar, claimed to be sponsoring the defamatory actions. The case has attracted attention due to the high-profile nature of the accusations and the involvement of media personnel.
