Uba Sani And I Are Close” — Abbas Shuts Down Feud Rumours
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has dismissed reports suggesting a rift between him and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, insisting that both leaders continue to enjoy a cordial and productive working relationship.
According to Ireporter Online, speculation of a disagreement between the two APC leaders had sparked widespread discussions on social media, with supporters exchanging accusations and raising concerns over the party’s unity, particularly in Zaria.
Addressing residents and party supporters in Zaria on Sunday, Abbas described the reports as unfounded, stressing that his relationship with Governor Uba Sani remains strong and is built on mutual trust, respect and a shared commitment to the development of Kaduna State.
The Speaker stated that the current level of cooperation between the Kaduna State Government and members of the National Assembly from the state is unprecedented, adding that both arms of government have continued to work together in the interest of the people.
He maintained that individuals attempting to create division between him and the governor would not succeed, emphasizing that their focus remains on delivering good governance, promoting inclusive development and ensuring that democratic dividends reach all parts of Kaduna State.
Abbas also noted that the office of the Speaker is a benefit not only to Zaria and Kaduna North Senatorial District but to the entire state, pledging fairness, justice and inclusiveness in the distribution of development projects and government programmes.
He further called on residents to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, commending the President for implementing projects and policies aimed at improving infrastructure, development and the welfare of the people of Kaduna State.
According to the Speaker, sustained cooperation and support for the Federal Government would enable the administration to build on its ongoing initiatives and deliver more benefits to Kaduna State and the nation as a whole.
