Shut Up! You’re Stupid Wike Unleashes Verbal Attack On FCT Residents During Tense Confrontation (Video)

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, sharply criticized residents of the Lugbe area, accusing them of illegally seizing land. Wearing a blue suit and his signature bowler hat, Wike reminded the residents of the legal process for acquiring land, stating, “You cannot come to a place and seize land and say it is your own. We will not allow that.”

Residents, however, contested Wike’s accusations, claiming to possess legal documents for their land. “We are not land grabbers; we are developers. We have papers,” they argued.

Wike’s frustration escalated as he interrupted them, forcefully saying, “Shut up! Every land in the FCT belongs to the FCT. The supreme court said the area councils do not have the power to allot land.”

Wike further warned the residents, stating, “The only thing you can do is go to court. If you like, harass us. I will not settle you because you have taken laws into your hands. Be careful. Stupid.”

The FCT administration has been actively demolishing illegal structures in recent months, citing violations of the city’s master plan. According to Mukhtar Galadima, director of development control at the FCTA, many of the demolished properties were constructed illegally by individuals accused of land grabbing.
