Divine Dispute CAN Fights Back Against Abia’s Church Signpost Tax

Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma, and secretary, Rev. Dr. Francis E. Okere, CAN expressed disappointment that Abia, known as a Christian state, is the only state in Nigeria imposing such a tax. The letter urged the Governor to reconsider the policy, warning that it could lead to the perception that the government is against the Church. CAN also called for a roundtable discussion to resolve the issue amicably.
