Bwala’s comments followed criticism from APC chieftain Jesutega Onokpasa, who criticized President Tinubu’s recent appointments, particularly that of Bwala. Onokpasa, speaking on Arise TV, claimed that appointing Bwala was a betrayal to Tinubu’s loyal supporters, accusing Bwala of calling the president a “drug dealer.” He questioned how someone who had made such accusations could be rewarded with a government appointment, while other supporters were overlooked.
