The two suspects, aged 32 and 47, are facing charges of conspiracy and robbery. The court, led by Chief Magistrate Mrs. Olabisi Ogunkanmi, did not take their plea due to jurisdictional limitations. However, she ordered their remand pending advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution. The case has been adjourned to January 29, 2025.

According to the prosecutor, Inspector Sikiru Opaleye, Akanbi, Adewole, and one other suspect at large conspired to commit the robbery.
