Governor Abiodun hailed Edionseri as a pioneering entrepreneur whose legacy of resilience and success continues to inspire generations. In a statement, he extended his condolences to the family, emphasizing her significant contributions to the state’s economy and society.

“Her pioneering efforts and remarkable achievements have left an indelible mark on society,” said Governor Abiodun. “Her influence will continue to resonate for years.”

The Edionseri family confirmed her passing due to a brief illness. A statement by Dr. Adebayo Adebowale described her as a woman of grace, dignity, and unwavering faith, whose wisdom and kindness enriched the lives of many.

The funeral will be held at 4 pm on Monday, January 6, 2025, at her residence in Abeokuta GRA, in accordance with Islamic rites.
