The accident occurred around 3:27 p.m. at the Age-Mowo axis of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. “Our team was alerted at 3:30 p.m. and arrived at the scene just six minutes later,” Manga said.

Involved in the collision were a Toyota Matrix car with registration number KSF 235 JE and a Bajaj Tricycle with no plate number. Two of the tricycle’s occupants died instantly, while one sustained injuries.

The injured individual was rushed to the General Hospital in Badagry for immediate medical attention, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital’s mortuary.

Commander Manga urged motorists to exercise caution while driving on the one-lane expressway and strictly adhere to traffic regulations to prevent further accidents.
