Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that he would still have built a successful career in the entertainment industry even if music had not worked out for him.

According to reports, the Grammy-nominated singer made the revelation during an interview with Kiss Xtra, where he explained that his deep passion for entertainment extends beyond being an artist. He said he could have ventured into running a record label or establishing a media company, noting that his love for music and show business has always been a driving force.

Davido stated that even if he had chosen to work in his father’s business, he would still have pursued a side venture in the entertainment industry, particularly by managing a music label because of his enduring passion for the creative sector.

The award-winning singer also highlighted his educational background, revealing that he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He explained that the qualification would have enabled him to pursue a corporate career if he had decided against music, adding that he possesses the credentials needed to secure employment in the business world.
