Jim Iyke Makes Sh*cking Claim About The Entertainment Industry’s Spiritual Foundation
Veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has stirred conversations after asserting that the Nigerian entertainment industry is largely structured around values that promote satanism.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Joey Akan, the actor argued that the entertainment sector often encourages self-glorification rather than devotion to God. Reports indicate that he described the industry as one where many individuals elevate themselves to a god-like status, which he believes reflects the core principles of satanism.
Jim Iyke maintained that although there are people of faith within the entertainment industry, remaining spiritually grounded requires deliberate effort and a conscious commitment to God. He suggested that the industry’s culture naturally leans toward promoting personal fame, influence, and self-worship instead of godly values.
The actor explained that while creativity is a gift that mirrors God’s ability to create, many creatives become consumed by self-interest. According to him, serving oneself instead of God creates a spiritual conflict that ultimately aligns with satanic ideals.
Reflecting on his personal experiences, Jim Iyke admitted that he had once enjoyed the excessive admiration that often comes with celebrity status. He recalled moments when fans reacted emotionally to his presence, saying such experiences briefly made him believe he was extraordinary before realizing that true significance comes from a relationship with God rather than public adoration.
He concluded by encouraging people in the entertainment industry to seek a deeper connection with God, stressing that genuine purpose is found in faith rather than the pursuit of fame or self-exaltation.
