In a circular issued by NPFL CEO Davidson Owumi to club chairmen and general managers, the league outlined the benefits of the Prostar ball, which meets FIFA’s international match standards.

Features of the Prostar Ball

  • Material: Crafted from diamond-pattern soft-touch thermal bonded PU leather for superior control.
  • Durability: Includes a micro-shell coated butyl bladder for enhanced longevity.
  • Design: Features 32 aerodynamic panels for precision in flight and movement.
  • Specifications: Weighs between 400-430 grams, with a bounce range of 1.1-1.4 meters, and classified as an official size 5 ball—the standard for global professional football.

The second stanza of the season kicks off on January 25, following a competitive first half.
