Defensive Shakeup: Man City And AC Milan Seal Kyle Walker’s Loan Deal
Manchester City has officially announced that England defender Kyle Walker has joined AC Milan on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season, pending international clearance.
Walker, 34, departs the Etihad after a remarkable seven-and-a-half-year stint, during which he made 319 appearances, scored six goals, and won 17 major trophies. These accolades include six Premier League titles, a UEFA Champions League, and a FIFA Club World Cup.
In a heartfelt statement, Walker said:
“I’ve had the privilege of achieving so much with this incredible club, and I leave with nothing but pride and fond memories. AC Milan represents an exciting new challenge, and I’m looking forward to helping the team compete at the highest level.”
Manchester City praised Walker for his contributions, particularly during the club’s historic 2023/24 season, where he captained the side to multiple victories, including the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
The club wished him well as he begins a new chapter in Serie A.
