The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure re-election in 2027 and complete a second term in office.

“A man with the courage to execute a project conceived 45 years ago is the only one capable of completing it. We must vote for him in 2027. The President must be re-elected by the power of God. Those in support, say ‘hi,’” Umahi declared.

The minister highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to the South-East, noting several federal projects initiated in the region since he assumed office in 2023.

Umahi, a former two-term governor of Ebonyi State, stated that the South-East would overwhelmingly support Tinubu’s re-election, predicting a landslide victory for him in 2027.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will receive 99% of the votes from the South-East because he has been very supportive of the region. The South-West will leave us to give him 99.99% in 2027,” he asserted.

He dismissed claims of sabotage against the administration, citing major infrastructure projects like the Enugu-Abakaliki road and the Afikpo-Abia-Okigwe route as proof of Tinubu’s dedication to national development.
