Falana argues that the video, which included false information about his health, violated his privacy rights under the Nigerian Constitution and the 2023 Nigeria Data Protection Act. He accuses Meta of recklessly using his image and name to generate traffic for advertising revenue without verifying the claims, thus subjecting him to ridicule and emotional distress.
