The statement further highlighted that the investigation into Achimugu began in 2022. Despite her attempt to secure a court order preventing the EFCC from arresting, investigating, or detaining her, the Federal High Court in Abuja ruled on February 19, 2025, that no court can obstruct the investigative powers of law enforcement agencies.
