Diddy’s Last Hope? Rap Icon Appeals To Trump For Pardon Before Fate Is Sealed!

Embattled music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently convicted on prostitution-related charges, is now seeking a presidential pardon from Donald Trump ahead of his scheduled sentencing in October.

According to iReporter Online, one of Diddy’s lawyers, Nicole Westmoreland, confirmed on Tuesday that efforts have already been made to initiate discussions regarding a potential pardon.

“It’s my understanding that we’ve reached out and had conversations in reference to a pardon,” Westmoreland said during an interview with CNN, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.

According to iReporter Online, former President Trump, when asked about the possibility of granting clemency to the 55-year-old music icon, expressed skepticism. “I was very friendly with him.

I got along with him great and he seemed like a nice guy,” Trump told Newsmax on Friday.

“I didn’t know him well, but when I ran for office, he was very hostile… I would say so, yeah,” he concluded when asked if he was disinclined to offer a pardon.

Combs was convicted last month by a New York jury on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution—each carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

However, he was acquitted of more severe charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, after a lengthy and highly publicized trial involving multiple allegations of abuse.

Sentencing has been scheduled for October 3, and according to iReporter Online, Diddy’s legal team is intensifying efforts to secure clemency before that date, holding on to the hope that a political intervention might alter the course of the rapper’s legal fate.
