A Nigerian woman’s revelation about why a man retrieved an iPhone 17 Pro Max and other gifts from her has generated widespread attention online.

According to Ireporter Online, the woman, identified by her handle @ARIAREREIGN180683 on X (formerly Twitter), shared that she had gone on two dates with the man, who had also paid her house rent. The man, whose identity remains unknown, reportedly bought her an iPhone 17 Pro Max as a birthday gift, along with 400,000 naira.

The woman recounted that the man later requested intimacy, which she declined. In response, he reportedly went to her residence to reclaim the iPhone and other items he had purchased. The incident left her friend injured, as shown in photos shared on her social media account.

Describing the events, @ARIAREREIGN180683 said, “My friend was in the house, so we started insulting them. Before I knew it, this boy slapped me. My friend tried to defend me, and he began beating her. I ran to the bathroom to hide until they left. When I came out, I saw my friend like this, and they took everything too. I’m definitely getting justice for my friend.”
