Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has explained that his decision to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) was driven by what he described as a deep commitment to democratic values and the pursuit of good governance in Nigeria.

According to Ireporter Online, Kwankwaso made this known in a post shared via his official account on Monday, where he said the move was part of a renewed effort to strengthen democracy and provide Nigerians with a credible political platform.

He disclosed that the decision was formally made during a gathering at the residence of Senator Seriake Dickson in Abuja, noting that the step marks a bold and deliberate shift aimed at repositioning the country’s democratic space.

Kwankwaso stated that the NDC would serve as a platform for Nigerians to realise their full potential, urging his supporters and other well-meaning citizens to join the movement in what he described as a renewed fight for good governance and true democracy.
