According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has weighed in on the ongoing marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, calling for accountability and restraint in matters of infidelity and marital conflict.

In a lengthy post shared on Facebook, the actress criticized the normalization of cheating in marriages, stressing that silence or temporary emotional withdrawal between couples should not be interpreted as justification for unfaithfulness. She argued that disagreements and periods of “malice” are common in relationships and must be handled with maturity rather than retaliation.

George noted that some individuals choose to stay silent while processing emotional issues, but insisted that such periods should be approached with understanding and not used as an opportunity for revenge or extramarital affairs. She maintained that any form of “do me I do you” behaviour weakens the foundation of marriage and should be avoided until issues are properly resolved.

The actress further stated that infidelity remains unacceptable as long as a couple is still legally and physically in a marriage, adding that anyone no longer interested in the union should exit rather than engage in extramarital relationships. She also advised women in troubled marriages to walk away after making genuine efforts to resolve their issues.

Referencing past public discussions involving singer Mr Eazi, George recalled how the music star was once accused of communicating with his partner via email during a disagreement, describing it as an example of poor emotional handling in relationships.

She also mentioned singer Chike in her remarks, suggesting that he should apologize to Frank Edoho and other affected men over alleged romantic involvement with married women. The actress added that individuals attracted to older women should focus on those who are unmarried.
