According to Ireporter Online, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kola Ologbondiyan, has urged aggrieved party members who possess evidence of alleged result manipulation to formally present their complaints before the party’s appeal committee. He made the statement on Wednesday during an interview on Arise Television, stressing that the party has established internal mechanisms to address disputes and maintain order.

Ologbondiyan noted that allegations must be backed by credible proof, adding that the appeal committee was already in place to handle such matters. He maintained that the party leadership remains committed to resolving internal disagreements through its constitutional structures rather than allowing unverified claims to circulate.

In a related development, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called for unity within the ADC following the conclusion of its presidential primary, which he won. Atiku appealed to former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and banker Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, who had earlier rejected the outcome over claims of irregularities, to join hands with him in strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atiku, in his remarks, emphasized that there are no winners or losers in the contest and urged all aspirants to close ranks in the interest of national development and party cohesion. He further extended a personal invitation to Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen to collaborate with him in rebuilding the party and advancing democratic governance in Nigeria.
