Baba Fryo Sparks Debate With Claim About Musicians And Women
Veteran Nigerian musician Baba Fryo has shared his views on marriage, relationships, and the challenges entertainers face in balancing their personal lives with their careers, stressing the importance of having a supportive and understanding partner.
Speaking in a recent interview, the singer revealed that he remains partly convinced that being married to someone within the entertainment industry can be beneficial for artistes. According to him, a partner who understands the demands of showbiz is more likely to appreciate the nature of the profession and the responsibilities that come with it.
The music star explained that individuals outside the entertainment circle often find it difficult to fully comprehend the realities of an artiste’s lifestyle. However, he noted that his perspective has evolved over the years, adding that understanding and support are more crucial than sharing the same profession.
Baba Fryo emphasized that successful relationships are built on mutual understanding, loyalty, and respect rather than career similarities. He pointed out that even marriages involving two entertainers are not immune to challenges, as external influences can still create tension and misunderstandings between couples.
The veteran singer described respect as a vital ingredient in any marriage, maintaining that relationships are likely to struggle when partners fail to understand each other’s circumstances and aspirations. He added that both marital success and career growth depend heavily on the level of understanding between partners.
Reflecting on the struggles faced by many entertainers, Baba Fryo stated that some musicians hinder their own progress because they constantly modify their actions to avoid conflicts in their relationships. He argued that many artistes lose momentum in their careers when they are unable to receive adequate support from their partners.
According to the singer, long-term success becomes more attainable when a spouse understands the demands of the entertainment industry and actively supports an artiste’s ambitions. He maintained that a supportive partner can contribute significantly to both personal happiness and professional growth.
