According to Ireporter Online, Afrobeats superstars Asake and Wizkid have achieved a significant streaming milestone as their collaborative track “MMS” surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.

The update was disclosed by music tracking platform TheDebutHub in a post on X, highlighting the song’s continued global traction across digital platforms.

The achievement marks “MMS” as Asake’s eighth track and Wizkid’s 17th entry across all credited works to reach the 100 million-stream benchmark on Spotify.

The Grammy-nominated record blends Asake’s energetic, Yoruba-infused delivery with Wizkid’s signature smooth vocal style, creating a fusion that has resonated strongly with global audiences. The song also earned a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, further underscoring the growing international influence of Afrobeats.

The success of the record comes on the heels of their joint project, “Real Vol. 1 EP,” released in January 2026. The EP, which includes standout tracks such as “Jogodo,” has recorded impressive streaming figures and secured top positions on charts in several countries.
