According to IReporter Online, Nigerian actress and media personality Temi Otedola has openly stated that she would never deny being referred to as a “nepo baby,” noting that she fully acknowledges the advantages that came with her background.

The billionaire heiress made the remark during a recent episode of The How Far Podcast, which she co-hosts with her husband, singer Mr Eazi. She explained that she sees no reason to reject the label, as it accurately reflects the privileges she has enjoyed through her family’s influence and financial standing.

Temi, who is currently expecting her first child, argued that acknowledging privilege is a matter of honesty and does not diminish personal achievements. According to her, privilege is not limited to having famous parents but also includes growing up with financial stability, access to quality education, and life opportunities that are not available to many people.

She further illustrated her point by explaining that nepotism becomes evident when family connections are used to create opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to access. In her words, such advantages are part of reality and should not be denied.

The actress also stated that she could never deny being a “nepo baby,” either publicly or privately, adding that it would be unfair to pretend otherwise. She emphasized that many people struggle to admit their privilege because they fear it may undermine their hard work and accomplishments.

However, she maintained that accepting privilege does not erase effort, noting that while she benefited from a strong foundation, she has also worked to make the most of the opportunities available to her.
