How Peer Pressure Influenced My BBL Journey – Mercy Eke

Reality TV star Mercy Eke has revealed that she underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure due to the influence of prevailing beauty trends and peer pressure at the time.

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 4 made the disclosure during an interview, explaining that she deliberately kept her decision from her mother because she anticipated strong opposition to the cosmetic surgery.

Eke recounted that the recovery process was one of the most challenging experiences she had ever faced. She explained that the first three days after the procedure were particularly painful, while patients are also required to avoid sitting or sleeping on their backs for approximately two weeks to allow proper healing.

Despite the physical discomfort she endured during recovery, the reality TV star expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the surgery, stating that she now feels more comfortable and confident with her body.

Reflecting on her decision, Eke admitted that the popularity of the procedure and pressure from those around her played a major role in influencing her choice, adding that although the recovery was painful, she is pleased with the final result.
