According to Ireporter Online, Zuchu made the announcement on Sunday through her official Instagram page, revealing that she and the award-winning artiste had decided to part ways after years of being together.

The couple, who had been in a relationship for about six years, officially tied the knot in June 2025, marking a new chapter in their much-publicised romance.

However, Zuchu, who is also signed to Diamond Platnumz’s record label, stated that despite their efforts to make the marriage work, they had chosen to move on due to circumstances beyond their control.

“We tried, but Allah has His own plans,” the singer said while announcing the development.

She further explained that the divorce process was already underway, adding that she had decided to prioritise herself, her wellbeing and her career.

“My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After six years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Nigerian TikTok personality Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has revealed that he has been attending private marriage counselling sessions ahead of his planned white wedding with fellow content creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis.

According to Ireporter Online, Peller disclosed during a recent livestream that he enrolled in the counselling programme as part of his preparation to become a better husband.

The social media star explained that his participation in the sessions contributed to his reduced presence online in recent times.

Peller and Jarvis had earlier announced that their white wedding is scheduled to hold on August 1, 2026.

The TikTok sensation also revealed that he had purchased a $36,000 television van for the ceremony, noting that he intends to broadcast the event so fans across the globe can watch the celebration.
