Kano Gov Yusuf Names Deputy Governor Ahead Of 2027 Polls

According to Ireporter Online, Governor Yusuf made the announcement on Monday during a strategic engagement with federal political appointees serving under President Bola Tinubu at the Kano Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

A statement released by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, revealed that the decision was influenced by Garo’s loyalty, commitment, and significant contributions to the administration’s developmental efforts since assuming office.

Governor Yusuf expressed confidence in the continued partnership, describing his deputy as a dependable and effective partner who has consistently supported the administration’s vision for Kano State.

The governor noted that he had no regrets choosing Garo as his deputy, stating that the former commissioner had demonstrated the qualities required to help drive the government’s agenda.
